Composite products
Our composite products consists of hollow steel beams and columns, which upon assembly is filled with concrete to achieve a high-strength, yet slim construction.
The concrete also provides natural fire protection and excellent noise reduction compared to all-steel constructions.
Composite beam
The beam consists of a bent steel web, which is welded to the lower flange. The lower flange works as support for the concrete floor slabs.
The upper flange is strengthened by additional, flat steel bars which are welded into place. The inside of the beam holds reinforcing bars which strengthens the lower flange in case of fire.
Composite column
The column consists of a circular or square steel pipe with a solid steel bar as core, a top plate and internal metal sheets.
